Lovely scene. The light is just right picking out the castle. What is that building doing in the water. Has a damn been built and created water in the valley. Would be interested to know.

Simons question: There is a small island in the middle of the river.
The castle in the river is " The Pfalz of Kaub", it was used to get some TAX from the boats passing by ( long time ago .......)

Great Shot, I like very much the light. Have you used a filter or how did you mesur the exposure? On the sky? In any case the picture has a very nice light.
