About I was experimenting with 1600 ISO B&W film, but this Shinto procession passed our church so I snapped it despite having an unsuitable film. THe grain is surprisingly good for such a fast film.

Roger, i agree with your "about" statement pretty much, a nice interesting photograph but proabably would of been more engaging in color. Anyway thanks for the comments on the panorama. I have had problems with horizontal horizons as i can never get it quite right. Also I have some more panoramics waiting to be uploaded but as i have not yet donated, :( i can only do one a day thanks for the suggestions.

Roger,
just saw your comment on the fall shot. I appreciate your comments very much. Yes i was trying to get the soft water effect and did use a slow film speed but i used a tripod so i don't think there should have been any camera shake. Anyway next time i will try polarizing filter. Thanks very Much!

A facinating subject, it was a shame all the cables got into the top of it

Roger,

do you know what really pulls my eye away from the real subject - those wires, its like knitting up there. I appreciate this was a snap and you have done a reasonable job of capturing the oportunity. I always end up with unwanted elements in my shots when I snap at subjects, I try and force myself to look around now if at all possible.

Regards

Keith

This is simply fantastic. Great capture.

That's a very nice street shot, the powerlines fill perfectly the upper left portion.
Neopan 1600 shows a really astonishing grain here !
