I love the contrast between the boats and the buildings, really sets the mood for the image.

Sylvia Jones   {K:652} 4/28/2001
Lots of mood and great contrast - nice black and white.

Artie Colantuono   {K:12275} 5/6/2001
another one I missed..getting old I guess.........Very compelling image.........the muted grey background sets up a really nice backdrop for a very dominant Black ship with strong sense of power or structure to it.......being pulled by this tug also in a good rich tone.......it almost diminishes the power of the massive building in the background........and the fog did that nicely.........good job seeing this and creating this Phil...Very well done.

One of my all time favourit on usefilm, this one was here right from start and when ever it came up on random I have clicked on the image :)

There is too much in this pic, telephoto lens has compressed the sense of depth well, the fog has set the right mood for the buildings and the tug towing the barge tells a story by itself! Any one living near to a port will love this pic.

Great pic Philip. Please show us more of your great works.

An example of how to use B&W film at its best. Take a peek.

A nice shot, which expresses a feeling that is uniquely Hong Kong (one of my favourite cities).

Lighting is perfect, and the focus is great

You may consider cropping the wave in the bottom left of the scene -its the only distraction.

Anna Pagnacco   {K:7448} 5/8/2003
