About Fisherman with blank flat sky, merged with a stormy sky in the darkroom by conventional techniques...

I then used the texture filter in PS to give it a slight canvas effect and selectively coloured it by using the Marquee Lasso to mask the individual areas off... Finally framed in PS.... Thanks for looking

I like the way the beach gently curves off to the left and the gentle light and soft pastel colours of the sea in the foreground.Shame about the fisherman's 'tripod' which coincides with his shadow and silhouette. The stormy sky is just a bit too strong,it's an intrusion on the beautiful silence of this scene.Maybe a less intrusive graduated filter in P.S.would have worked better.Regards Tony.

Ken, the photo of the fisherman is a fine action shot, well composed, I think you overdid it with the reddish clouds. To appear realistic, wouldn`t the sky colors reflect on the water and wet beach? -Jim
