And if we enter this portal what would we find?

Very interesting perspaective! Why is it so dark?

lavendu ...   {K:4882} 11/1/2003
looks like architecture in a sci-fi film, very threatening.
what is an anti-aircraft bunker?

fabio, this looks more like the 'dark tower' to which it somehow really is connected. but well taken and composed.
i heard those towers were meant to be converted to art or commercial centres? do you know?

The kings of the earth are men of might
And cities are burned for their delight
And the skies rain death in the silent night.....

very powerful especially when paired with the quote...

anti-aircraft bunker should be the correct (?) translation of 'flakturm'
anti-aircraft-guns were positioned there to fight allied bombing squads during world war II
:
it's not true, that they will be converted into shopping centers
atleast not in vienna
:)

fabio this is one of those you get away with just cos u r fabio. if it had been Jock Smith or Robert Pollypolly they would have passed as unobserved as an oak leaf falling in the autumn among another million oak leaves. But that is just the point. What was the point again? (sorry too many carrots clouding my reasonings-normally fairly cloudy anyway..) as I was saying. The point is that you cannot possibly see Fabio Keiner through one picture. You have to see them all. and then you see one big picture. and it looks to me like this one big picture, despite some awful photos like this one(equally necessary to complement the exquisite ones) has attracted quite a following. Why is it that through all that darkness shines something quite lovely?
