Regarding the contrast, I tried different levels, but I preferred this one, the more I increased the contrast the folwer loses it's dreamy look... That's why I chose this tone..
I had another idea of increasing the contrast and applying the poster edges effect in PS.. I don't know if it would work, I'll try it and post it as a comment...
