Hi Daniel,
This is a brilliant image! Really interesting result and the original must have been a good shot also. As soon as I saw the thumbnail and your title I thought "SNAP! Dragon" as a title, though I don't know what kind the original flower is! It looks like it jumped out of a fantasy book and is about to take your fingers off! Like one of these fly traps that close when something touches the center. "Venus ManTrap" perhaps...
