About I really like this image - does it do anything for you?? Don't be afraid to burst my bubble!

This photo is the tail end of a Bellanca Citabria. The Citabria is built for aerobatics, and in fact, Citabria is "airbatic" spelled backwards. The design derives from the 1946 Aeronca Champ, a post- WWII competitor to Piper's J-3 Cub.

Taken at Lee Airport, just a few miles south of Annapolis, MD.

No bubble bursting Steve. The design on this craft...(right word?) makes a very cool image, you have composed it so well. Great job!

Beautiful abstract in gloriously bright colors. I can see why my photo of the Torsk intrigued you. I might trying to make this even more abstract by leaving out the registration alphanumerics, tilting the camera to line up the vertical edge of the frame with the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer and including more of the design on the vertical stab.

Was browsing still life pics when I found this one. Guess I'm a total sucker for good abstracts in bright colors and this one has my favorite shade of yellow. A cool aircraft with cool looks. I'll put it in my faves.
