Don, I understand your point about the rose, but I will explain that this is how the image is because Brooke received the rose from her boyfriend on their first date anniversary...she was melding...becoming one with it...lost in thought of him...because it represents their love.

Peta, this is absolutely perfect. I love the toning, the tight crop, and I can feel the sense of love and compassion held about this flower. Very soft and romantic, lost in her feelings...........just wonderful. Great color, terrific composition and very nice lighting.
This goes into my favorites. Great texture too by the way - what did you use in PS? Great work Peta.
