I think you are right!

I really like the flames! :)

Kris.

This rig got air conditioning?

I love the juxtaposition of images here. What might be an otherwise idyllic setting (it may be an "undesirable" place, but it looks neat, suburban and somewhat pastoral) is marred by a random inferno. What makes the image particularly odd is that it's in the middle of a field (with no visible roads, I might add) and no one's around! Does this sort of thing happen frequently in this area?!

"Oh, ho hum. Dear, there's another car burning in the field again. Please pass the salt."

Anyway, thanks for the chuckle. :)

I'm not sure if it happens all the time but you do find a few burnt out cars in that area. This was the first time i ever saw it in proccess, luckily I had my camera with me :).

I have over 30 shots of the whole event from the car being driven about, being set on fire, to when the firemen turn up.

There are actually people near the car on the right but I didnt get them in in this shot cause i wanted to get the whole of the tower block in the frame, they are in all the other photos i have tho

If that car's stolen, the local authorities might be interested in your pictures!

Hi Ali I like this shot a lot , it may be because I come from this part of Edinburgh that I can relate to it , but I also like it because of the scale of the image , the tall flats swamping the small car, it`s a great shot well done .
You may be interested to know that some of the smaller flats have gone . my own site on this area can be viewed at
