Was this doctored a bit in PS, or did you just play with the light until you got the right amount of colourful glare? Whatever it was, the outcome is awesome... very dreamlike, but still very real. I think that I wish that the one main CD, top and centre, was off to the right a bit.

The only thing i did to this pic was to crop it a little..
I had to move the light ( just a standard house lamp.. you can see it's reflection ) around alot till i got the right amount of glare and adjust the position of the cds .

The thumbnail of this image caught my eye. Very interesting shapes you've managed to create with the CD's and the lighting. The three CD's at top resemble spotlights, shining down on the central CD. The only concern I have with this picture, and, with this particular subject it's not even that serious, is that the overall focus seems a little soft. Of course, that could also just be the scan and other factors. Other than that, you've produced a very unique and eye-catching image here. The colors are nice and saturated. And isn't Superia print film just the deal? I shoot 800 and 1600 myself. Beautiful color, and surprisingly small film grain. PERFECT for sports photography, should you take interest in that field. Keep 'em coming, Ali! :)

On a side note, I looked up the Centon K100, 'cause I'd never heard of it, and I noticed it has a Pentax K mount. GOODY! :) Look for a Sears brand 135mm f/2.8 Macro lens. In all honesty, it sucks as a macro lens...gets REALLY soft...too soft. BUT, as a portrait lens, it is superb. It's made my Samyang...the same company that makes Vivitar and Phoenix, and even some Tokina lenses. The optics at normal focusing ranges do an excellent job (you have to turn the inner barrel more clicks out to get macro focusing, but, again, don't use that, 'cause it sucks). You can get 'em at pawn shops and such for around $20. If you find one, snag it, but check it first to make sure the aperture works properly, and that the lens elements aren't scratched, chipped, or covered with fungus. I bought one on a whim once, and I fell in love with it. I've bought several since to give to friends who use Pentax cameras, 'cause, again, it's a great portrait lens. Just thought I'd share this with ya, in case you'd like a good portrait lens but don't have much money to spend on it. :)
