About I'm quite pleased with this one, from the range of tones and textures to the driver's expression and even the complicated controls he has to operate. The 21mm's exaggerated perspective is also under control.

Hi Roger - I like thisone very much (for the same reasons You do), Your portfolio is very journalistic.
Thanks for Your comment on my "beachwalker" - I never made a panorama-shot, but Your version of my photo looks interesting too. Regards

Superb, who else would have thought of publishing a photograph of a bus driver ? I can't remember the last time I was on a bus, and I certainly didn't take any photos to commemorate the experience.
As you rightly say the quality of this is excellent.

Regards

Keith

Roger,
the restrictions of time and geography on your portfolio just enhance my admiration of your work. With such tight restrictions you manage to keep your enthusiasm and find fresh subject matter, where I would have given up a long time ago.

Keep em coming !!

Keith

great shot, nice framing. Really great capture, showing a glimpse of a day in the life of this bus driver. Really well done. Nice tones aswell

Thanks, Ian. Two things endear this photo to me. One, it was an early example of the lovely image quality of my 21mm F/4 Voigtlander Skopar lens, and two, it was one of the first I ever tried converting from colour to B&W, which went very successfully. Before that, I had been using Ilford XP2 chromogenic film, but now I can shoot in colour and know that good B&W will result if I so choose.
