you really captured the flow perfectly here Paul and seem to be getting your wish to produce quality photos. I noticed, like me, you seldom use a tripod in your other pix and thoughh the compositions are nice , they are usually off focus from the long exposure, low light camera shake. I have my own method for avoid that but in really low light, you might just grab a tripod. This one appeared a bit dark on my monitor and I thought it might show more detail if contrast was adjusted and some saturation increased n leaves and rocks so I used screen capture to play with it. I created a copy, adjusted contrast lighter, increased saturation 15 percent on leaves, rocks and then layered back together at about 80 percent to allow all the details to be viewed. Im not sure how it displays on userfilm or its just my monitor thats dark but it seems to show all the beautiful details of the scene here. just an idea and of course your own taste in the scene must prevail. nice job, Kenny

Nice, I think the exposure you chose is perfect for capturing the water. I've been seeing a lot of 6s and 12s shutter settings and I think they lose a natural look in the water. Your setting allows the softening of the water while still retaining a natural look. As far as composition goes, I would have liked to have seen the source of the waterfall at the top of the picture, otherwise great shot!

Looks like you have some water shots. I especially like this one. Are you in the area of Chittenango falls?
Since your hard drive crash have you become a believer in backups? After having two crashes I have come up with a scheme to back up to a removable drive every night.

Yes.. I have some water shots.. have not posted too many... have to admit that I had to look up Chittenango falls :) I am not that close to there. there are some nice parks in Pa as well (Ricketts glenn etc)
And yes... I was always a believer in backing up but the crash happened during a transition phase.. oh well, using a raid format now plus have portable back up also...
