This is specially for you, my untouched picture. Ok, I know, it is a poor quality pic., out of focus and with an awful background. That is the reason why I decided to play with it in PS. It's a good excercise on the process of learning how to use PS. Just curious about effects, like many of us, I believe. I have a very old simple digital camera with less than 1 mil. pixels. I hardly ever get good photos with it. My new one is coming soon, hoopfully next week. One more remark......Beatiful??? That is something you cannot see in a photo. Beauty on the outside doesn't mean much without beauty inside.

Ik vind dat je hier een prachtig stukje fotobewerking laat zien. De originele foto, die je hebt bijgevoegd bij je commentaar, is inderdaad niet echt een meesterwerk. Des te fraaier is het effect dat je hebt weten te bereiken door het spelen met PS. Dit bewijst maar weer eens dat fotografie veel met cretiviteit te maken heeft en niet alleen een kwestie is van goede apparatuur! Mijn complimenten voor de manier waarop je deze foto hebt bewerkt.

Thanks for your comments to my penguin.I was in Magdalena island,near cape Horn,the very bottom of the world,I took many pictures to penguins.Therea are ,living there about 200.000 or 300.000 , but I could not see them in a meeting but only small groups.I just arrived from Chile and I?m sorting about 2.000 pictures I took down there.I?ll submit the best ones.

De laatste op mijn molen foto.
Hier in Groningen staan nog diverse molens
Ik maak vaak foto,s onder weg naar mijn werk, Ik kom dan water en molens (3) tegen
S,morgens en avond luchten.
Ik vind dat jij ook mooie foto,s hebt.
Alleen ik hou van puur natuur om te fotograveren en jij maakt er wat artestieks van.
Beide is mooi . Ik krijg ook wel reacties om iets aan foto,s te veranderen, een takje weg nemen of zo, maar dat vind ik niet puur. Daar houd ik van. Ieder heeft zo z,n gave em je kunt natuurlijk van elkaar leren . Maar blijf a.u.b. je zelf.

Very nice self portrait Emgy, the green is definitely coming through to the audience! Suburbia is a term used to describe residential areas generally in a city's hinterland. The photo was taken in Blacktown, one of the suburbs in the outskirts of Sydney, about an hours drive inland, that spot was about 500 metres from where I live. Thank you for asking :)

but maybe a bit 'artsy-fartsy' I think the expression is...
I would try a BW with good contrasts and a slight blur for the effect of dreams and more...

my dear Emgy,
I took the picture reaching for the moon had approximately 3 PM in the afternoon yesterday(sunday) at my mothers house in eastern Pennsylvania.. this was the first time I was ever able to get a decent picture of the moon! my new Minolta A1, five megapixel digital camera has the new anti-shake technology! I turned the lens all the way out to 200 mm and set the f-stop at f-11, set the main dial to aperture priority, aimed and took the shot..I was surprised it came out as good as it did.. thanks for your lovely comments my friend. regards jon
