Hi Mike,a really threatening sky emphasized by the overall low lighting levels. The red roof gives almost a touch of relief that the eye grabs onto. Great composition and nice PS work.
There is some streaking in the sky don't know why?

i think the tinting works extremly well here, very effective in accetuating depth, like the dark sky as a contrast as well.

Rafal K. Komierowski   {K:6441} 11/25/2003

Hi Francis. A creative artwork. The dramatic sky and the atmosphere, against the red roof get a good result. Well done. Congrats.

what a nice composition! I like the strong visual impact here ,the touch of red colour is perfect , framing is good but I think if you crop a little bit the right part your pic gonna have more "power" .
(sorry for my poor english)

regards
Caprice

Francis,

This image is quite scary hehe. Very good...very creative idea with the red roof. The image is quite threatening. Somebody mentioned the streaks in the sky, I'm wondering about that myself. Otherwise, awesome shot. Well done.
Regards,
~Luke

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 3/16/2004
This is a wonderful shot! I think storms are my greatest love and this shows a pending one well. The red roof cries out. The house looks lonely and scared. Wow.. now this is what I'd like to achieve, but I also want to do it the old fashioned way on film with a manual camera. This is the greatest challenge. I also loved the picture of your moon rising through the trees. I tried one recently, but did not have a tripod with me, nor a neutral density filter, so it was blown out, and a little blurred. Maybe next time :)

Eddie Bayliss   {K:2144} 4/1/2004
