The Mud Faerie

This amazing looking guy performs with a young woman, also splendidly dressed, they sit amongst a huge pile of mud and sculpt wondrous fantasy creatures such as dragons, gryphons, mermaids, and wizards.
They only communicate with facial expressions, gestures and a variety of interesting sounds such as chirps. These were taken at the Scarborough Renaissance Faire here in Texas. I've attached a photo so you can better see what he does and his fantastic hair and costume.

Ursula I Abresch   {K:6515} 12/6/2003
Out of mud!! Wow!!! I've seen people do wonderful sculptures out of wettish sand, but never mud. And the customing - some people are just so creative, it's amazing. I love your picture of the guy also. You have to show it to him, give him one, it's wonderful. Here I'm gushing again, but you do such beautiful pictures. Oh well. Take care,

Ursula

I read the story and looked at the attached photo, it was a perfect situation for you, it remembers a few reworkings of yours, but your interpretation is better than the original. I like how you framed his face and you highlighted his particular expression. Bye Max

Cherie Spike   {K:-21959} 12/6/2003

"Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
For once she was a true love of mine."
Idon't now wht, but this picture seems to fil perfectly into this song, Peta.
It was always a magical music to me and so is your image.
Again the textures are amaizing.
Yes, you are becoming Rembrandt, no dout about that, my dear friend.
Hugs,
Marília
With lots of computer problems. AGAIN!

I am half expecting a flute to be hanging somewhere in the folds of this Satyr's cloting. I am sure he would be very grateful for a print.
