About Evening light at Zion National Park, December 15, 2003. The warmth of the illuminated stone cliffs betray the chill of the shadowlands within this deep canyon in the winter months. Still, if you want to avoid the masses and really get away from it all, try hiking Zion in the off-season. The mild winter and a dusting of snow really add another dimension to this magic place.

He's back! :)
I really like how the shadow suggests what's on the other side of the camera! Beautiful colors-makes me want to get out of the tundra!

Andrew's back! Love the shadow! Could make a person feel small!

The shadow is fantastic. The trees are great for showing just how enormous this scene really is. Beautiful image.

Terrific use of shawdow and light! Just enough detail in the shadow to make this really work well. Looks a bit like a jig saw puzzle... Nicely seen Andrew!

P.S. Thanks for your kind comments on the feather.
