This is beautiful! That blue sky makes this one really rich in color. No complaints...great shot!

A nice shot. I can feel the cold already. I think a horizontal composition would be excellent to compliment the snow blowing off the mountain.

Beautiful landscape, love the texture of the forground, the colors, the way the sticks reaches for the sky, particulary the one on the left, balancing the composition. Well done.

Very dramatic shot! I really like the depth and layers here. I'm not sure about the darker area of sky in the upper right hand side of the frame - it's almost too dark and competes with the mountain. Welcome to Usefilm, looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Mark Scheuern   {K:1428} 11/14/2002
I like the shadow patterns and the texture in the mounds of snow in the foreground. The tall plant on the left balances the composition and I also like the way the bend of the top echoes the lean of the mountains on the left.

good exposure on the snow. maybe a half stop more overexposed and the foreground snow wouldn't be so grayish. did you have a polarizer? it looks like maybe you turned it just a bit too much giving that really dark blue in the upper right. i'm finding the tall bush on the left a bit distracting. looking forward to more of your stuff. 8)

Greg,

Very nice! You were able to keep the shadow without blowing out the whites. Very pleasing to look at.

It's interesting - it was the tall sprig ont he left that i worked so har to place - we all see things differently.

Christian Simms   {K:235} 11/15/2002
Great composition. The balancing effect of the the left limb completes the image.

This is Great Greg.
That left branch sticking up is what makes it for me
