About The bowsprit of a skipjack berthed at City Dock (a.k.a. "Ego Alley" because of the many yachts there) in Annapolis, MD. Part of a series I'm doing on City Dock and the surrounding harbor area.

This is one of your best images uploaded so far off your 300D. Very impressive and good color and composition.Have you tried shooting anything in raw mode. They say you can get 1 or more extra stops in laditude in exposure range.( a little more detail in shadows and highlights)

WOW! You must try contest with this one!! The frame is gorgeous. I know it's really simple but sometime it works more then anything esle. The color is trendy and very confortable. The light is perfect because we can feel the texture of the rope.
I love it.
I like your closeup style.
Marie ;)

Damn Steve ....... You are a natural ... your portfolio is Excellent .. there isn't anything in there that you didn't capture perfectly. and my favorite is this one ... "skipjack Bowsprit". As you saw .. i love doing marine photography. Most of the colorful wooden boats are going by the way-side.Anyway .... this photograph is so strong. Bravo Steve .... Bravo. .. I can smell the salt and oil.
