| About |
I was on an assigment when I stumbled across a girl that I had fancied when we were both in the 8th grade. We didn't recognize each other at first but it was the voice that stuck. She said the same. We walked and talked for a while and then we sat underneath a tree to pack 20 years worth of stuff into a five minute conversation. Susie, the girl from the 8th grade introduced me to Kayla her daughter. Kayla had just earned herself medal for participating in the walk. Susie told me that it has been a difficult struggle everyday being a mom, especially of a child with Down's Syndrome. Kayla proceeded to show me her medal and smile and giggle at the "funny man". They both told me much later that really liked the picture. I hope that you do too.
