About It was Junior Olympic day in La Jolla. This little girl had just won the 100 meter dash in the nine year old division. Her friend couldn't contain her emotion and ran out on the track to give her a well deserved hug. If you ever get the chance to shoot the small events, they'll come up huge in your lens.

What an endearing shot - the tooth makes it so special - the lighting is terrific - I might tone down the little patch on the lower left

Thanks for the comments. It is a lot of fun shooting pure sports for the sake of sport. The kids take it as another day that they get to hang out with their friends. It was a real pleasure being there. I will clone out the bottom left corner in the future. Good idea.
