Very nice Peta. Excellent pose and interest. Wish there was just a bit more light on his face. Anyway great work. Don.

This one has an entirely different mood to it. More relaxed as if he was sitting in some tropical beach just playing. One image and two different zones...it sound like Peta's work!

Pedro Libório   {K:53861} 1/5/2004
...just great!!!

....very nice in B&W too-- again, it's your sensitivity to the subject I think. I notice you're going "Ratingless" lately-- any particular reason?... is it a thing like burning a bra?;>) Happy New Year Peta!

Massimo Di Maggio   {K:-55858} 1/5/2004
Sincerely I prefer this version, the B/W tones are wonderful, there is more balance between lights and shadows, also on the cheek and the knee, the details are much more visible than in the colours version, the choice to change the background is right. Great photo Peta!!! Bye Max

Two things!..........the camera angle and the hat in the foreground. Exceptional!! I peeked at the color one first......so do I have to choose which one I like best? As much as I like b&w in general, I can't dismiss the color. I like them equally. Superb, Peta!!

creative portrait, (as usual ;) ) i like it in b/w!

(the portrait i posted...well he was talking to a friend and didn't know i was shooting. I was lucky, with that painting on the wall behind him :) )

Christina Bach   {K:171} 1/7/2004
Very nice. I like the blurred background - it makes your subjects stand out.

Dave M   {K:9043} 1/7/2004
Perhaps not as dynamic as the color piece, which spoiled me. Purposefully had to come back to this later to review it again on its own, without the color image so strong in my mind. I think, had I not seen the color piece first, that I'd have loved this one even more. It is more subdued, and lovely. I only wish his foot weren't cropped out.

Alexey Sapa   {K:27168} 1/7/2004
Hi, Peta! Made by Great Master! Excellent in B&W and colours too! My best wishes, Peta! ALexey

Fantastic work ! I just quickly scanned your portfolio as I need to go out, but will be back to look at each more carefully. Your work is very poetic.
