you've put this photo into the contest catagory. i think it could have also gone into the 'alone' catagory because when i see it, that is what i think of. there is a desolate quality and even though there are buildings in the background, it has a sort of post-apocalyptic wasteland feeling to it. very eerie. black and white is a good choice for this photo because colour would have made it bland.

i agree with shengnan. successful bleak atmosphere. is the tilting intentional? kinda brings out a desolate effect.
