oooh, Robert, this capture is excellent, it's practically an abstract but is utterly natural..the gold is seductive, beautifully metered, composed and pure California..why oh why do you do so much PS work when you have such natural elegance? You break my heart. Come back home to real. You have such a wonderful eye, so much ability..have faith in nature and yourself to achieve what no one else can and let the PS work enhance your images, not possess them. kat~

Kathleen, just love your comments. Thank you. I'm curious though about this one as far as "so much PS work". Are you refering to THIS image or the "watercolor" series? I'm not sure really since very little was done to this one if I remember correctly. The watercolor series is quite "worked" in PS I admit since that is the intent. I know some will question my intent since not everyone will like the same thing. As for the jpeg compression that a few have mentioned, I've purposefully cut back on the jpeg quality for bandwidth purposes which might have something to do with it. Also, my display is running 1280x960 which makes these quite small and I don't see what those running lower resolutions will see. Display contrast, brightness and color settings will also give a different view. Thanks again for your input. I'm taking notes!
