dan-this is an excellent shot of the moon-very nicely done.

Nice moon shot, and I am not talking about a rear end.

Did you ever solved that dust problem? Please let me know how it came out.

Great shot!
We have an endless fscination of the moon eh?

Donald Byrd   {K:255} 1/9/2004
Nice job Dan. I have compared my moon shot to yours and have determined that the Canon 1D seems to be far superior to my old Nikon D1. The noise levels in your shot @ 400ISO are far superior to my shot @ 200 ISO. Were you able to use autofocus with your teleconvertor?

great shot!!!!!

Hey, you critiqued my shot of Castle Geyser. Yeah I only had two days in the park so a good sky was out of the question. I just saw this add in the paper asking for a photographer willing to travel out of town in 3 different states that takes photos of Gymnastics, Martial Arts, and Dance... sounds alot like what you do?

Hi Dan, awesome photo

Took one on 08 Jan 2004 at 10Pm , Funny to see the placing of the "navel" on your photo compared to mine. (http://www.usefilm.com/image/281086.html)

Great Photo, The detail is superb, I have tried to do this, but it never works well.

Great moon shot! I love taking these.

This is great Dan really caught well. I wondered why you used 1/250 with ISO 400 when you could have used ISO 100 at 1/60 and less noise. This must have been a really bright moon.
Regards'
Graham.
