Very beautiful photo, because not only I love the desert, but it?salso very well framed, sharp and with good colors, only the sky is a bit too bright for my taste, in any case the image is suggestive and it makes fly my mind! Bye Max

Gerhard Hoogterp   {K:6461} 1/8/2004
Hee, die heeft dat zelfde paarse, terwijl de lucht toch mooi licht blauw is.. Is dat echt de kleur daar? Ook weer een prachtig plaatje, met die kronkel die je ogen door de foto leiden...

Kim Culbert   {K:36791} 1/8/2004
The lines are beautiful in this one, and they speak more creativly to me. Your vertical shot is gorgeous as well, but it seems more the classic dune shot with the ridge leading your eye into the frame. This one has some great swirls and different levels that make me take a deeper look into the image.
It's too bad that even if you did use a polariser it wouldn't have made a difference given where the sun looks to be, but that pale blue sky could have been so much more in this image if it were darker. Oh well, can have everything all the time!! *grin*

Sandra Berry   {K:7453} 1/9/2004
Photo has pleasing eye appeal, Love the play of light and shade in this shot. Best Regards, Sandra

You can't imagine what a balsam for eyes it is to come in your portfolio lodge. It inspires me over and over again and I keep learning from this shoots unconsciously. I must agree with you that we all are amateurs (probably all), but we do not shoot waiting for perfect conditions like those who does this for living; that is why we call that a lifetime shot! We just seize the opportunity we got with all the strength we have! You and some other UF members really can squeeze the maximum of these chances. The proof lies in your work, and this is what makes you so special? I love being your friend!
Friendly greets
Andrej

Surreal, so perfect it can hardly be true. To have been able to photograph this must have been a wonderful experience. I have so enjoyed your incredible portfolio.

Eric van Houtum   {K:502} 4/27/2004
What would you have done if right before the shot a drunken camel had wandered up that hill?

Gr
Eric

Hugo de Wolf   {K:184981} 4/27/2004
LOL! It was about closing time, so a drunken camel in the middle of the desert would've been very well possible, if not for the absence of alcohol.... But if I'd seen one, I'd think I'd grabbed a breath analiser in stead of the camera....;o) Already in the mood for Curaçao, I see.... Better start practising!

Cheers,

Hugo
