Hugo, I got a chance to dig a little deeper into your portfolio, although I am still scractching the surface. I like this very much. I am getting to like soft macros very much these days (have been reading F. Patterson). makes me wish I had a macro. I wonder if you could've reduced the bright light on the focussed one. That doesn't bother me much because of the nature of this photo. How about the fern angled a little more?

Hi Chitra,

Considering you picked this one, I think you already dug quite deep...:) A macro lens is great, but I don't use it as much as I'd like to. This was one of my first macros, and shot with film. I think (not sure, I took this one quite a while ago) the blown out back side of the leaf in focus is a scanner problem... Also, the angle suggestion is a very good one, think I would've done that if I knew then how effective that can be...:)

Cheers,

Hugo
