Neushwanstein? Looks very much like Von Ludwig's castle in Germany. (That was the basis for the Disney castle) Very nicely done, though. I love the color variations!

A fairy castle indeed Hugo with wonderful colours. You've caught it at the right time of day as well, the lighting is perfect. Composition is great as I think a central position fits well as apart from the high tower the castle is more or less symmetrical.

Maybe a little too close to the border in the upper side... You could remove the branches in the upper right side with an easy work of clone... i think... the castle is beautifull... Nicely done!

Mirko suggests removing branches, what about adding to left hand side and top to create a feel of emerging from the dark secret forest to view the fairytale princess castle. It would also give the pic more balance,but, good capture all the same.

El castillo was built not to prevent "possible" invasions and attacks form the spaniards, but for "actual" ones.Between 1640 and about 1700 it was a daily fact of life, near the boarder...in both ways !

I upgrade my Coolpix 5700 for the 8700, with a substancial 8MP.You can see if my pics have improved.
