About I know it's not a great shot (helloooo overexposure!), but I just wanted to share my "wildlife" capture. Unfortunately, no mossy elephants were found attached to the trunk. ;-)

It does look like an elephant's trunk and part of an elephant face. I didn't really notice til I read your comment. Good eye. Reminds me of Snuffalufagus.

hahaha! This is GREAT! Love the trunk, but wonder where the rest of him is! See, you have great sight into what makes a good shot! Thanks for the giggle!

Becky - thanks for commenting on my 'root's picture. I sometimes think that some images are doomed to come out poorly because I was not in a great mood when i took them but in this case I was pretty happy at the time (although my knees hurt like hell). Your color addition points out how cool the sky colors were, not the usual red rock we think of Bryce canyon.
I like this image of the rain forest. Maybe cause we are all on fire here in southern california tonite! It may be a bit overexposed but it might also benefit from a polarizer to knock the reflections off the leaves.

keep shooting - john
