If I didn't know your work better I also would have thought it was a painting... but that's just it for me all your works are paintings... you've been to so many beautiful places, and I never get fed up of following you through your travels.

I thought it was a painting too (from the thumbnail), but that's because of the higher res of the 120 format. That little path through the snow is something else. Love it. It kind of divides the scene, and yet keeps everything together compositionally. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Right now, I'm in my square format period (for the most part) and this Beautiful Belgian scene is just amazing.

great really. so crisp. directly to my favourites. [and i would like to give you a friendly advise. if you frame your pic with 2 pixel-wide black lines, i think it would look much better. the edges blend with white uf background.]

It is a very luminous photo, with some beautiful colours for being in winter, only that I had the impression to see two compositions, the dead trees in the left and the still lives in the right; at the first moment I thought that would be better to frame only the left part of the landscape, but in this way it represents perfectly the variety that exists in nature. A beautiful photo, and yes, it looked like a painting!! It's sharp and really nice. However, I feel the bushes on the right distract a bit from the trees, which should be the main focus. I would have cropped the greenery on the right by half, and perhaps shifted the camera more over to the left? otherwise, a lovely landscape.

the heather has a great hazy effect on the photo, like light brushes from a paint brush. the whites of the flowers on the tree, the snow and the peeling bark really tie everything together. as one comment below said, this is like a painting. good work.
