it seems she is looking with a clever glance and not exactely remembering...but good tonality and isolation of the subject, with a good emotional appeal.

Roger Cotgreave   {K:15892} 1/14/2004

ONE OF YOUR BEST DANNY
LOVE THE DEPTH OF FIELD AND FOCUS ON THE WOMAN
i ALSO LIKE THE CHOICE OF COLOUR (BLACK AND WHITE)

Danny, sorry to communicate via your picture, but don't know how to communicate through this website any other way.

I see the fine black line, but no, the photo was not sharpened. I use Picture-It and do not like what their sharpening tool does to the photo.

I do very little if any retouch on my photos as I get greater enjoyment capturing the subject thanm playing with it after. My son on the other hand spends hours in PhotoShop.

Sure it looks as if the background was blurred after the fact, but it works really well. Maybe cover your tracks better :-) I also like the tones in the grayscale conversion as well as the composition itself. Bravo.

nice tones, contrast, sharpness and DOF
