I say this only because I've shot these before and I have strong feelings about these types of shots - I think the light should be softer on the baby's hand and that the baby's hand should have the most focus and detail...

Thanks for the sugggestion MaryBell. I too have done many of these types of shots in all different ways but have not figured out which way I prefer yet :-) Let the learning and creativity continue..... use film is a great forum. Thank you again for taking the time to write.
