Very nice Greg...how do you like the Tokina lens?

Greg Summers   {K:1115} 11/26/2002
Chris - I thought I would like the idea of the 24mm - and i do - but it is quite heavy. There is relatively small amounts of distortion and the image quality is excellent. In hindsight - I might have staye with the Tamron 28-200 and purchased the 17-35 from Sigma which I have heard is a terrific lens. At least with a digital SLR you'd get some semblance of wide angle. This shot and three others in the series print up exceptionally well. But it is at least twice as heavy as the Tamron I had.

Glad to see you re-posting this wonderful image, Greg. It makes me want to grab my gear and head down to the lake, except I know I won't find a sky like that in my part of the country. Re the lens discussion, do you still have the D100?
