| About |
Continued fill flash experiments. Trying to capture the dynamism and movement, while using the fill flash to freeze a particular moment in time. Life and living goes on afterwards....
Cheers,

What a fun pic, I love slice of life shots better than slick, over-processed shiny images. This photo tells a story, and that is what a good photo should do. I see all the weddings I've ever been to, and relive all the happy moments after the dinners (usually buffets with some kind of chicken and beef) and a few drinks, out on the dance floor. You have a very wonderful portfolio of images and I can tell from your comments in the About: field that you are constantly experimenting. Isn't it wonderful when your experiments bear fruit, such as in this fun, fun, photo.

"This photo tells a story"... That's why it has so few comments? Full of life, autenthicity, mouvement... People's eyes are so strange... Very, very good, Hugo (your comments are... as good as your photos. Congratulations!)

Hi Hugo!! Hey...that looks like a WEDDING RECEPTION!! Great! Their expressions are terrific, just the kind of photos people LIKE! :) What are the two hot areas on the right? They're OK, just trying to figure them out. Doesn't look like a secondary flash, and I'm sure 'fire dancers' are mixed in with all these people! lOL
Nice job, Lori ;)

Hi Lori, nope... A wedding Party....;o) I used an external fill flash (1/100') with a slow shutterspeed. The two hot areas on the right are are two spots, which suddenly turned on.
I think the couple was happy with this one, although I mainly took it to experiment with fill flashes, It did turn out ok. Maybe I should've decreased the strenght a bit...
Cheers,
Hugo
