This one makes me a little jealous as well... I never had the honour of having a fantastic pic. like this one taken of me and my guitar. But then.... your dautgher is very pretty and a great model with at least as much talent as her mum.

Yes Peta I am here but not as much as i am on PP. I usually post here to get different feedback. On the other site I have a lot of friends and I want some other opinions if i have a shot that is good. Now for this photo. OH i would have emailed this first part but not sure how here lol. I really like this photo. I think this would be a great cover for a CD,I Like the lighting which is dark in some areas but stressing the guitar and the singer. I Like the light on her face just giving us a glimpse of her yet having some facial aspects a mystery. Great photo

Once again, your toning and texturizing make this a photo that really stands out. The pose is great - I like the singer's intimate connection with her guitar. I like the soft lighting, but I wonder if perhaps the shadows aren't a bit too overwhelming. It's difficult for me to see the subject's eyes, so her expression is slightly blank to me. I also feel the left side of the guitar could be highlighted just a bit to capture a small semblance of outline. Currently it blends right into her body, which admittedly is a nice touch and well executed if that was your intention. Having it highlighted would just be another interpretation, of course. :)
I've always had a fondness for portraits of musicians - including yours! Hope you keep them coming.
