Nice contrast, horizon's well placed, love the way the lines lead the eye into the picture. Great capture.

And the road has plenty of diversions. The loneliness exudes from this picture. the long shadows, bare trees, lost memories.

Great picture and I like the interesting edge treatment.

Thanks for your comment on Solitude. It was f16 and 50mm

Of course the photo is very good Rebecca, no problem with that. I have some thoughts about your metaphor"the road to home is never straight" I for instance never go via the cemetary, a bit bizar in my view. Like I said, a good photo though. Regards Rob.

good shot Rebecca maybe you should turn around and go the other way..I actually really like cemeteries I walk my dog there everyday..regards roger

beautiful and, i would say, frivolous line of the road as the oposition to the graveness of the cemetery - that's what i feel looking at your photo Rebecca :-)

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 1/22/2004

Graham Mulrooney   {K:16868} 1/22/2004
Great picture with good tonal range and composition. Lets hope the road home doesn't lead into the cemetary too quickly.
regards,
Graham.

Very nice image. But frankly, I would love to see you use film and some digital. Film is so cheap at Walmart. Nice imge and cemeteries are among my favorite subjects.
