I like the unusual combination of textures and the composition. I know nothing about lighting, but this would seem to benefit from better lighting.

Ahhhhh, Marty, I do like this ! :-) And no, I don't mean the model, but what you did... Very smart imo as far as textures and composition are concerned... The rope is also perfectly placed... Only 1 regret : the shoes disappear a bit too much...

I'll be uploading something for you shortly...:-) Cheers.

Marty,

This is fantastic. Black on Black can be tricky and you've got an excellent tonal range here. The comp and placement of the rope is perfect. Try blacking it out just above the horizontal section of rope and see how you like that. Remember those many times I said, "Get close!"...this is it!

Thanks for the feedback guys. The photo got darkened a bit when compressing it down to a jpg. The print is slightly brighter; seperating the shooes from the background a bit more. The tonal range on the print is so broad it damn near looks like color.

We were just shooting some ideas out and I went to the bathroom and when i came out Adrienne was just laying on her back with her legs like that. I said FREEZE, then wrapped the rope around, and viola! :)
