Exquisite sharpness and lighting...When i saw this photo in the small version i was taken by the mature look of this little girl, but now i see it bigger and -despite the 'knowing' look in her eyes- it's more visible she's a very young girl, great!

I am definitely adding you to my friends list! After looking at your work I can't tell you how much your critque has meant to me; I am in awe of all your images and appreciate the time you took to give me advice and perspective.
While all of your work is spectacular, this one stands out the most to me. I certainly can not critique/comment as but I am only an egg to you, but I do know beauty and excellence when I see it...Viola! Those eyes are absolutely perfect!

WOW.................... those eyes are simply INCREDIBLE!!!!! This is an awesome picture. It joins my favorites immediately. Cindi, I share Karen's interest in whether this is digital or not. I kind of think it has to be, but no information was offered. When I scan I unfortunately loose a lot of detail - through "truncation", I have heard. And sometimes it doesn't matter. But, this has amazing detail, especially for such a close up. And that's what makes this feel so real and in your face "urban".
On the other hand, there is an intimacy in this photo that is touching. I do not know how well you know the child, but she is certainly letting you into her world. She is not dashing off like so many kids do. Great shot. Cheers, Leora
