About Trying to find the magnification limits of my lenses! I consider this my best macro! These things there are surely not rocks! They are cells!!! They are onion cells the ones we used to see long ago in biology classes at school through the microscope! Now in digital camera edition! For those who will ask the differences between this photo and the one taken with a microscope the answer is that in the microscope there is no 3D sense because light comes through the objects! Enjoy as I do !!!

very very cool indeed!! that is a heck of a macro lens you have!! The color and depth are quite nice - you are right!

This is a fantastic photo, I find with macro you have to be very careful with depth of field even at much less magnification than this, it looks very clear and I would never have guessed it was onion cells. What a picture!!! well done
Regards
Terry

Really quite incredible. Yes, this quite superior to microscopy, which lacks any shading.

You are macro-miracle man, Gianni! I would love to see your work dressing a fairy tale. Macro indeed allows you to enter a new world. It seems though that your synthesis capabilities start from traditional values in photography. Go crazy man! excellent work!
