Beautiful detail in the fine hairs and even better the control of the light. It doesn't overwhelm so we are focused to study it closely and enjoy the detail and beauty in a subdued fashion....love the almost monotone and the introduction of a passionate pink...

Hello, Marillia. You make a virtue out of scarcity, in this case. light. In the presence of so little the tiniest bit more is a effective as the mid-day sun. This plant is like a benevolent many-headed Hydra, putting forth lovely blooms instead of hissing snakes! The little prickly spines add particular interest to the textures here. The subtle shades of green here are a balm for the eyes. May I wish you a happy and productive New Year. Bavid
