About Early one Sunday morning I was approaching one of the large railway stations in London. I saw this young man srealing home after a night in the clubs. The light was poor so I was shooting near full aperture. The film developed in Rodinal had prominent grain which seemed to enhance the gritty effect of the subject. Not a technical approach I use often.

a very early 70's tearaway no doubt, playing the fruit machines all night. Its like your snap exposed him, caught his naughty activity as he escapes back home in the early morn before anyone wakes up. No cctv back then, just your instant flash. How's that story, do I have it right. Anyway it is a great time capsule..and look at the mod shirt.

The effect of grain and exposure works well - adds to the furtive rushed nature of his activity...untechnical comment - he seems like such a baby...

David, thank you for you all but too correct comment on my, indeed ?Distracted? photo. In fact, I had been fiddling around with that one for a long time, feeling neither pleased nor satisfied with it. Of course I had tried b&w, but that wasn't convincing either. So I decided to leave it 'as is', but I'd better not considered placing it at all. In fact, I have removed it already. Seems I just needed your comment to convince myself. My other people-photo's are all in b&w, which is where I feel at home the most. So, thanks for waking me up. By the way, I am impressed with your work. Regards, Han.
