About Taken Yesterday, in snowstorm (yes, camera survived... I think) Not a high quality "beautiful" shot, but I thought it might be interesting, and I wonder if quality is good enough to still enjoy it. I find it so interesting that when the left guy is killing the fire, it looks like if the background guy is on fire. But of course he was not.

Who killed the guy on the ground... Haha... Roger, that really made me laugh! :-)) That's a practising doll who is sometimes on fire, so people can learn on the doll what to do if a real person is on fire.

Graham Mulrooney   {K:16868} 1/31/2004
Fire looks great and also its reflection in the snow. Almost looks as though the man using the extinguisher has a flamethrower setting everything and everybody on fire. You sure that's a dummy? :-))
Regards,
Graham.
PS nice to see some snow ours is all gone. Ah well maybe next year.

Roger made me laugh with his comment!!! ;))) The flames are impressive, especially those on the background, the man seems to be burning, I hope you were not very close! But tell me... the fire was put out or you cooked a hot-dog?? ;))) Bye Max

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 1/31/2004
Haha... Well, the fire was put out by this "murderer"! Just look at his gloves... He is wearing them to get rid of fingerprints! ;-)

Hi Kristina, I had a good laugh at this one because after I looked at it, thinking that the guy behind looked like he was on fire, I noticed the poor dead person on the ground... and then read the comments!

Thanks for Your comment.
Ha, ha Kristina, your story about icicles is very funny, that really made me laugh!
You are truly playful.
Without on longitude and latitude, Bosnia have continental climate. The winter is hard and summer is very heat. Bosnia anyhow is country of contrast.
Best regards, Nedim.

dear kristina,
they must have had a grill party before and then came the snowstorm :-)) ??
very good action captured. good you saved your camera. i have seen such fire drums when i was in moscow once upon a time in february when the temperature was well around -27 degrees C. not so cosy.
i fully agree with you, winter has been long enough and although ehere in madrid we have not really been affected by snow or ice, i feel the lack of warmth. let there be light and sun and summer!
thank you very much for your beautiful comment on 'poisenous beauty'. remark: you know this is not a spring flower, don't you? but it looks like one, i agree.
kind regards y besos

Kristina! this photo doesn't require quality such as lighting/composition etc. It has great quality within itself. Unique and very original idea. Really very impressive shot. I like it much.
