I love it Kriss. A simple image but the composition light and colour are great. The frost on the Birch branches against the sky is lovely as is the frosty silvery trunk. It's a big tree so hopefully you didn't have to grovel about on the ground. :-))
Regards,
Graham.
PS-one for my favourites.

Great perspective and lighting on this shot! The warm glow of the sun really helps this shot out. The perfect focus allows the viewer to see the ice on the tree. Well done!

I like you!!! And I like this photo too, it?s a good point of view that shows us that fantastic texture created by the branches. Bye Max :)

dear kristina,
very good poetry adding to the title. makes an excellent counterpart to my 'winter wonderland' you liked so much. there they don't have birch trees though.
thank you very much for your excellent and rewarding comment on 'templo de debod'

Richard Marriner   {K:6657} 2/15/2004
Don't mind me, just thought I'd have a little play with the channels to see what it looked like... This is the cyan channel with a little sharpening and contrast.
Like the perspective you've chosen here and feathery detail on the icy branches. More nice work from the G5.
I had a laugh when I first saw the thumbnail of this - I read the "r" in the 2nd word of the title as a "t"... (I'd just been reading an annoying email from an old ex of mine. LOL )

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 2/16/2004
Haha... Richard... Frosty Bitch...? When she is having a bad hairday? You can paste her face in and then use it as a voodoo-doll. But print it out first, otherwise your screen might look strange after. (tihi-tihi... will she read this by the way?) ;-)

I like your desaturation & level playing! I'm missing the deep blue colour of the sky and those few survived leafs, but everything else looks more dynamic on your's.

Jesper Kristensen   {K:786} 2/19/2004
Very very nice

Lex Bronkhorst   {K:14145} 2/19/2004

Greets, Lex!

P.s and about the Narcis, it could be a dafodill, i heard of that flower, but i am not sure it is that one, in the translationbook from dutch--> eng. i can't find it, and reverse also, in the translation book eng. --> dutch i can't find it :P. Still thanks!!
