great silhouette, love the colors and so forth, well composed, etc etc, is this a shot of a diorama by any chance?

Anindya Maity   {K:6451} 12/14/2002
Thanks Terrence.I can't understand what u mean by 'diorama'.Please explain.

Terrence Kent   {K:7023} 12/14/2002
my descriptive powers fail me, so i'll just paste in dictionary.com's definition

di?o?ram?a ( P ) Pronunciation Key (d-rm, -räm)
n.
A three-dimensional miniature or life-size scene in which figures, stuffed wildlife, or other objects are arranged in a naturalistic setting against a painted background.
A scene reproduced on cloth transparencies with various lights shining through the cloths to produce changes in effect, intended for viewing at a distance through an aperture.

I have heard about that technique, but no ,this is not a diorama. This is a natural pic taken at a seaside in Shankarpur(original attached).I desturated the original, increased contrast to create the sil, added a two coloured gradient fill in the background. This is one PS pic where I knew what I wanted in the end(as Marc G keeps admonishing me that I should). Thanks for your interest.
