Beautiful composition, lovely little yellow flowers. I like thepresentation too. Fantastic shot.
I perfectly agree with you, Graham. My original selfportrait is is very poor quality and the light is definitely not how irt should be. I only added it as a thumbnailcause people were curious to see the original image after I had posted a version as an abstract which I had been having fun with in Photoshop. Thanks for comment

I really like the colors in this photo, Graham, but the almost fluorescent yellow frame distracts from the yellow flowers in the picture--just my opinion. Maybe if it were a paler yellow, so it wouldn't try and compete with the yellow flowers? It's still a beautiful photo, nevertheless. Carolyn

Mmmm... lovely composition, and those yellow flowers really gives a lovely mood! Only the water behind them seems a bit over exposed and white.

Cannot wait for Spring to arrive! Lovely image Graham. The yellow of the flowers brightens up the whole image. Personally, I'm not too sure about the yellow in the border, but that's just my humble opinion :-)

Hello Graham,
I haven't been around lately, but I am back now... for a while. Nice shot again, Wonderful flowers and reflection, which just seems to bright for me... I see the yellow flowers which have a dark background much better than others; Maybe a different angle would do the trick...
About my trees in reflection: I did a crop on computer too, and I must say I like both images... Cropped and uncropped. You made a good point about no need of a path of grass in front. I must say how much I appreciate you opinion because you always put a logical explanation for it. But if you think it is technical better without it I'll stick to your version. Thanks once again and please do not hesitate to give me some more critics when needed. Friendly greets Andrej

Thanks EVERYONE for your very kind remarks. I put this image up very late (12:45 pm) and did not obviously give it enough attention. There is an area which is a bit burnt, and I did not select the frame colour carefully enough. This is a crop of a larger image and I was trying to emphasize the wild Iris which I love to see in flower. Regards, Graham.

Good. The yellow little flowers and the yellow frame add colour on this and also contrast.
