What a spectrum of contrast! From washed-out sunlit fur to blacker-than-black nose. Nice emotive shot, well done! Does this bear live near you? ;-)

Excellent capture! I like the expression of the polar bear. Very well done and composed. Regards, Hugo

I love this shot. I am a zoo keeper as well as an amateur photographer and I do feel for this animal as I feel for most. It is just too bad that these animals, though they may not be as happy, are in fact safer in zoo's. Our species believes that this planet is ours and that we have the right to do what we want if it suits our need. One day we will wake up and realize the arrogance of this state of mind and I can only hope that beautiful animals like this one will still exist in the wild when we do. Well I guess this photo touched me. Good job Giselle.
