excellent night shot, i like this to do this too :) but mostly i get couple of spot lights spoil my exposure ..hehehhehe. but this shot is fantastic its so calm and great outlooking .

Nicely done. Perhaps not the most dynamic shot of the skyline I have seen, but well done nonetheless. Next time, I'd purposefully overexpose just a bit, to bring out the lights a little more. Well done.

we were touring round Manhattan - my Chrysler between chimneys was taken from Queens side (boat). It was so so cold whan we were in NY that we could not possibly wait to take this classic like you have taken....we would have turned into icicles!

Excellent night shot.For years I think of taking this picture, or to try to take a picture like this.But odds are against me,when I am in NY and can do it I have no camera,when I have camera I am not able to go to get the picture.But you got it and very well.

Hi Peter, What got me about this is the warmth and how close it is to my sense of what New York really looks like at this time of night. It tweaks my memory. This isn't too far from where I grew up.
What first occurred to me is it was taken from the mid-town tunnel area. But maybe it's from the southern tip of Roosevelt Island. Anyway, I like that you featured the Chrysler building and got a nice highlight in the water.
