Is this a recent photo? How recent? The world depressed me - for everything we've got, there's so much sadness.

Carl Sills   {K:289} 2/4/2004
I don't usually like the homeless/poor on the street shot...but this is a great one...nice.

Aliyar Taravati   {K:2822} 2/4/2004

I like this photo - the down and out expression is enhanced by the hand placement of the gentleman in the foreground. The grasping of the face is not only protective but somehow dispairing...As if by holding his hand there he can shield his emotions from you...The shoes also speak to the condition of their lives.

Oddly enough the right foot (the on our left) of the foreground gentleman appears to be floating rather than in firm contact with the street.

Massimo Di Maggio   {K:-56659} 2/5/2004
I remember these two men in the other photo, this time the impact is less violent, however the image is still charming and disquieting at the same time, very well composed and lighted, I like the grey tones, so strong and deep. Bye Max
