Paul: Its a bit overexposed picture from start. Then I have dodged the skin tones a bit, burned the eyes / brows. Some diffuse glow, levels, contrast, toning and usm is what other filters I used here, in PS 7. And the eyes ;-)

I like it very much. The eyes are gorgeous. But my visual confort I suggest a better definition of the nose. Maybe you wanted it like this, but this is my opinion. The composition is realy great!
