There is a lot of ice here, just good for my whisky!! ;)) It?s a very curious thing that the sky and the sea have almost the same grey color, the buildings seem to be suspended in the empty space, very nice effect, only a pity for the stern of the ship in the right, it?s a bit distracting. Brrrrrr? after this image, I want to go in my warm bed!!! ;))) Kisses from Max :)

Hi Kriss, now this looks seriously cold. A well caught image with good reflection on the ice. The sky looks a sombre grey and the whole image really portrays Winter. Now I know what you were crying about. :-))
Any Spring bulbs yet as I now have Snowdrops and Crocus in flower with some Daffs. shortly. Temperature yesterday was about 14 C max.

I can find - ONLY from this photo - millions of photos!!!!!! Hehe...about the boats, I am sure that they stack for a cuple of months! :)))

dear kristina,
i have been to stockholm only once on one 06th april and that was for business. there was no ice as far as i remember, but it was very cold. so i understand this as a picture of later winter like these days? interesting to see, very cold looking and the picture of a city far in the north, verdad?

This viewer is unsure whether to compliment the photographer for her ability to walk on water, or to warn her that the ice is soft and dangerous... but then she is old enough to know better... and not to take this viewer's comments seriously...
The view is what so many of us recall of Stockholm, especially knowing that summer is approaching and its time to book tockets for the Gota Canal crossing...

Oh yes I doooo, Jeff! :-)) It's very close to where my photo was taken! I have never been inside that ship, but people can sleep there for less money than hotels cost. It is called "Af Chapman".
